A 21 gal. aluminum tank from "No Limit" is 28 3/16" wide and 22" front to back. It is made to fit our trucks. You do have to move your rear crossmember back to fit the 21 gal. tank. To me it is well worth the $439.

One possibility...

I have the aluminum tank from Mid-Fifty (made by NoLimit).
Measures 28"wide x22"front-to-rear x8"deep. Mounting flanges add 2" on either side to bolt to or rest on the lower flange of the frame's C-channel. Can be had with side filler or top filler.
Pricey, but well made.

Mine is bolted to underside of frame. I don't know if threading holes in the frame will be enough support? Mine used a clip to hold a nut on the top side so that I just had to run the bolts up and tighten. With your boxed frame you will have to come up with another method.
