My book shows the radio continuous power wire as "LG/Y" (light green/yellow stripe).

when i dropped in my cb, i tapped into the hot side with the radio, and just grounded it between the mounting screw for the cb radio mount and the tinware the mount fastened to, as the tin had a good connection with the mount for the dash, wich had a good connection with the body, etc etc

> anyone have any opinions on the easiest way to add an accessory plug?

I like to cut the OEM lighter wire, make a (2) female Y connector with 1/4" plugs, connect to the OEM lighter wire. Then run a wire from the acc. plug/lighter to each connector.

> negative ?

Run a wire from each to ground on the steering column bolt or em. brake pedal bolt.

Here is a picture of my new acc/lighter plug next to the stock one. I have not put the stock one back (hence the hole) because I am still working on the dash project. Location was determined by what space was behind the trim panel so I wouldn't have to drill the dash much, only the trim piece. Used a hole saw obviously.
