The best spark plug?
I want to change the spark plug on my wifes 2002 Mountaineer.( v6) The OE plugs are Motorcraft platium AGSE 22PM. I called two parts stores and they didn't have a listing for this plug, but had a different motorcraft plug that they said was a replacement. What should I buy? What's best for this car?

I believe your model takes the AGSF-22PP. It's best to stay with the OEM if possible. Consider getting them from a dealer. If not, make sure the specs (single vs double platinum, etc) on the replacement plug are the same as the original.

Autolite or Motorcraft plugs are best. I usually use Autolite single plats on our 4.0ls explorers as they had single plats in from factory and have always worked good. You can cross reference the plugs to an autolite double platinum if you like. Wally World usually has them.
