Where's the Cruise!???
Quick story about my son's 2000 Ranger.
We found a nice deal at our local dealer on this Ranger that had everything my son wanted-standard, white,cd,xlt,sliding rear window and cruise. My son told me after a few days that he could not get the cruise to work so I tried it without any success. I take to the dealer to be serviced and they call back saying that this truck was not made to have cruise. None of the cruise components were on the truck save the steering wheel with all the buttons. Evidently, Ford slapped the wrong steering wheel on it. The dealer's first inclination was to install a non-cruise steering wheel but after some pleading I was able to have them install cruise. Amazing!
Anyone else hear of such a thing?
