Edge Question
Hello,
alright i know this topic has been beat up pretty badly but...
is the Edge Evolution worth the 400 bucks....i had one when i first got my truck and i had many many problems with it and then returned it but now i'm thinking about it again but don't want to spend the money if it's not going to do much for me. I'm thinking about putting a new exhaust system and a CAI on the truck at some point down the road also.

why don't you get a Gryphon then?
it's a reprogrammed Edge with custom tunes. I haven't heard a single complaint against it yet. Everybody who has one absolutely loves it.
And Bill (Gryphon tuner) can take into account the exhaust/cai you want for max performance

I love my edge as well i have it in a 06 FX4 quad cab.. I'm also turning 35 inch nitto mud grapplers... I also have the air intake throttle body riser 3 inch flow master witch i'm not to keen on that pipe... I also pull a 29 foot toy hauler and a 17 foot car trailer often.. I also noticed you are from Pa where at? Are you close to jersey? Were do you ride at i noticed you have a quad as well... yeah, i'm about 2 hrs north east of philadelphia....near Maple Grove Raceway...i go up to Ashland, Pa and do a lot of riding up there. we have a little over 25,000 acres we can ride on up there on private land you have to buy a permit for. It's a good time up there...

i haven't heard of the Gryphon....you say it's an edge unit but re-programmed....do they make more power and is the unit have the same features at the regular edge???

the Gryphon is exactly the same thing as an Edge. It just features 3 custom tunes vs the Edge's 3 canned tunes. All other features are identical

I know where your talking about.. frank my business partner rides there often... He lives in Maple shade.. every nov there is a turkey run in your area we ride.. if it;s something your instreded in i'll get you the info... It's alot of mud and water ride.. sort of like a poker run.. you get points and there is a prise payout (money)
