They are 17" Gen 1s. I'm waiting until I drop the suspension (3/5) before I wrap some meat around them. I've found lots of threads about tire size so I should be ok.

You think there can be TOO much black? I'm not going to have a bit of color left. I've still got the caps factory white. I've thot about painting them. The black wheels with the white caps and black centers remind me of Snoopy!!! LOL

Plus the screen in my ram hood is brushed aluminum, I've been thinking about red for them PLUS red wheel caps to match the interior.

Those look cool. I like the GenI "L" wheels. I thought about putting them on my truck. How long till you get the drop and tires? I can't wait to see it. I think that the red would look tacky. I think you should just have the center caps painted and paint the hood inserts black. I don't think you can have too much black. I like the all black look. Make sure you get some black lug nuts and Gorilla wheel locks.

Supersnake, Gen II wheels won't fit your truck without modification. Personally, I don't suggest modifying wheels for safety issues. I have read that it has been done though.

Wink

John410312: Its been said before and let me say it again:Your truck has got to br the nicest '92-'96 F150 Supercab that I've ever seen, all the mods that you have done I believe have been well thought out and executed, and now the GEN1 Lightening rims!!!!!!!! if it were mine I would paint the caps black as well....you have a monochrom thing going....I'd keep it up!!!!! can't wait to see your great truck with the "L" rims on it!!!!!

Snake, found these on eBay (originally white then sent to a powdercoater, black and clearcoat)

Picture Gallery updated. Except for new tail light pics.
