i see ford is trying to plan for the future with the 6.2, releasing it with only 2 valves, making it easy to up the power/efficiency as the competition tries to out do them. Wish they would go all out early on though, really blow the rest of the market out of the water.
Its pretty much how the history of engines have been. 352, 360, 390, 410, 427 and 428 FE big block V8s. 4.6 then 5.4 modular V8s. 429 then 460 big block V8s. 260, 289, 302 small block V8.
The 6.2 is a step in the right direction if power is your concern... not mileage!
