My girlfriend has a 2002 Ford Explorer with about 92,000 miles.
It has been running fine, then she left it for a couple days at the airport and when she got back all of a sudden the check engine light came on and when she is driving it is fine until she stops it starts to tremble and then act like it is about to cut off but it doesn't. It does it most every time she stops.
It actually did cut off once while parking but cut right back on.
Autozone did give the code of: P1151 which i see is common on this forum.
This sounds like an IAC Valve problem. You can take it out and have it cleaned so it will function properly. If not that then check all your vacuum line going to your intake throttle body. May be a leak in a low idle vacuum line. Also check to see if the coolant line going to the IAC are clear and not leaking as well. If it is the IAC then be ready to pay a hefty sum. They are not cheap. Hope this helps.
