radio interference

Has anyone experienced this.

I put in a nice Pioneer unit and now it seems like my tranny is winding up.

Thanks for any help

There was a thread reguarding the interference from a DP with a CB radio. Let me see if I can dig it up for you. It was something to do with having to run the ground all the way back to the battery. IIRC

you are right about running both wires on a CB to battery otherwise they can stir up lots of problems especially if running a kicker

Try running the ground back to the battery. I'm one of my other vechicles I ran a #6 AWG from the battery ro an isolated block inside the cab. This is where I attached all of my electronic grounds.

I don't think you will really need to run head unit to battery although some radio shops do
different units do have differeny affacts
