I ordered my 2001 SC Lariat about 2 weeks ago from Lone Star Ford in Houston. I've been making a few inquiries regarding grille guards, driving lights and a rear pipe bumper (Ranch Hand, 10" drop with lights). Here's the latest information. Grille guards are not a problem. Any grille guards that fit a F150 will fit a SC. I want to mount a set of 55w driving light to the grille guard. Any ideas on the best looking grille guards with light mounts? Looking for more of a rover-look versus a ranch-look in front. I've owned a pair of Hella driving lights and they have been great. Thinking about buying another set for the SC.
The rear bumper is a different story. Ranch Hand is telling me the rear bumper on the SC is not the same as a regular F150. You just can't bolt-on a regular F150 bumper to a SC. Ranch Hand is waiting to see how many SC's are sold before they set-up their die (re-tool) for the SC rear bumper.
I'll wait if I have to. Does anyone know of a company that has rear pipe bumpers for the 2001 SC's?
Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide me.
