anybody try lizardskin?

I found a unique product in the summit catalog, lizardskin. It is a ceramic insulation/sound deadener that keeps its soft and flexible texture. Anybody try it?

Heres the insulation
LizardSkin 50100 - LizardSkin Original Ceramic Insulation - summitracing.com

and theres the sound deadening stuff
LizardSkin 50115 - LizardSkin Sound Control Insulation - summitracing.com

I have heard of it before. It's the butyl that keeps it flexable, good butyl doesn't dry out as quickly as a lot of bonding agents. Anything is better than nothing, but I don't know about the ceramic. Asphalt is used because of it's weight, the weight modifies the frequency the panels resonate at, so in this case the heavier the better.
