man, is this a smoking deal on a smoking truck or what??? provided this 6.0 is a solid one, this truck at the buy it now is about 10g below canadian costs...
Yeah if I was to actually buy something down there I would go drive it back too. Often thought about that, was seriously considering doing that on a dump truck, and me and the woman talked about doing that with a new pickup and a new jeep diesel.
i would do it with a used vehicle, but not a new one. i find that with new stuff, buying locally is the best way to go provided they are worth dealing with. buying locally might mean a better service if its ever needed...
yes, no doubt you cannot be refused service, but you likely won't get "red carpet treatment" if you duped your local guy to save a few pennies... i dunno... to each their own i guess, i prefer to support the local businesses even if it costs me a couple extra bucks. it often turns around to my direction when some construction is happening...
case in point, i buy 99% of my recreational stuff from Schraders... i've now got a couple of offices to build and finish for them...
i bought from local Royal Ford, the owner is building a new home, i've got a good chance at doing the finishing and cabinets in it...
I definatly disagree you wont get red carpet treatment. Its all about how you act with people in general. If you go in there demanding this and that, then they will treat you the same way.
I bet if you got an atv serviced all the time at that schraders, and made buds there you would have gotten the work the same way.
But your defiantly free to do what ya want and buy what ya want for the price you wanna pay!
I am personally all about getting the best price. Service is easy to get, and making buds at places like that is a breeze for me.
