i have a 98 f150 with a 4.6l. is it possible for a intake valve to stretch, as in get longer. it will seat with the roller out, but not with it in. this is the only thing we could come up with with out pulling the head. i really don't want to exsplain it to you. its to stressful. thanks
another thing was before it started to miss fire, a code popped up saying that one bank was running lean. so maybe my cylinder got hot and stretched my valve. i have never heard of a valve getting longer. but it maybe possible. tell me what you guys thing. i really don't want to pull the head. thanks
i looked at my rollers and my valve adjusters, (lifters). they looked fine. i even bled the pressure out of the lifters. it doesn't seem to make a difference. i don't know what else it could be. thanks
