I read and printed out the removing ball joints, was stoked on doing it too. Had all my parts and everything to remove it. Now my problem is with to many hours wasted and running out of weekend, I still cant get my lower ball joint out it seems seized or something. Please help
That is what you are supposed to use, but you got to be careful how you set it up. If you put the wrong size "cup" on the press, when you try to press it out, you are forcing the joint into the press. Sounds kind of confusing, but make sure the "cup" or pipe looking piece is big enough for the joint to be pressed out.
If that isnt the problem maybe take a hammer and whack the joint with the hammer. This can "shock" the joint and maybe loosen it up a little. Once you do that try the press again, it can sometimes take considerably force to press out a stubborn joint.
well i'm having issues i guess theres the ball joint and what looks like a plate coming out with it i have the "tube" that fits over the ball joint but not this plate.. if that makes sence, i have hit it with a hammer a couple of times.do i need a larger size, it lookes as if i go any bigger theres no room for it to be used
