I did find one on my pc that I couldn't see an avatar, but the user hadn't created one.. It just showed the username way over to the left, which is what you described..

I haven't got a clue now...

It could be some other program that is on your pc causing the problem..

I see you have 3 or 4 toolbars running..

It still doesn't explain why only certain ones are effected..

And you never see this with the faster internet..

I will take my puter to town tomorrow and see if I can see Mark's avatar from a wireless connection at Starbucks. Don't know if that should matter, but it would be interesting if nothing else.

I just can't help but wonder,,, what else I'm missing,,,

That's the 64 thousand dollar question....

I don't see anything that is common about this..

If it was all avatars I would suspect a setting, but this is random avatars..

The only common thing I can see is the slower connection, which should have no effect on it.. They may load slow, but they should load..

I would have said reset your internet setting to defaults, but you say everything is fine on the faster internet..

Well I need to get some shut eye.. It's 1.30 am here..

Maybe tomorrow I can find the answer..

Good night

Yup, dial up is all we have. And we only got that five years ago!!!

No cell service,,,
No radio reception,,,
No TV reception,,,

Not much of anything,,,,

But that's exactly why I live up here!!!

I lived without tv reception once...spent a lot of time running to the video store 7 miles away...

I live in the big city now...anything I need within a few miles

I can get cable internet, dialup,DSL,FIOS,satelite...and the city of Tempe has a WAN border to border...and downtown Tempe, the WAN is free!

I would much rather live where I don't have to lock my doors, or take the keys out of my truck at night. I never hear sirens blaring down the road, unless I'm in the truck!!! Ha! Ha!! Ha!!! It's a good trade!!
