Excursion 05 Oil Cooler Crack Help Needed
I just purchesed a 05 Excursion Limited 4x4 V10 45000k.
I went to change the Oil today and the yahoo
at quakerstate put the oil filter on so tight it would not budge. In my attempt to get my filter wrench around the top of the filter I put a small crack 
in the Oil Cooler above the filter.
Does anyone have a diagram of this part?
Any idea of the Part #
Or an explaination of how to get it out???

Never removed one before but it appears to unscrew for removal. Here's a diagram.
If you must replace it, try and frequent one of the 3 OEM parts guys here who are on this site. They give pretty good discounts.

It looks like it Just Spins off like a filter... Anyone know differantly??
I may see If I can find some one to weld it... it is just a 1/4" crack I must have hit the soft spot... If not who are the OEM Parts board members???

Well removal is not so simple.... You can not spin off the cooler without removing the whole bracket you can not remove the bracket with out it look like taking out the motor mount..... so... I clamped off the lines to the cooler drained the cooler and got out the JB Weld... first I sanded the surface rough and put down a good surface of the magic epoxy so far looks great... will fill the system and begin test tommrow...
