NO question I could get an El Cheapo kind of deal...but since my radio upgrade will have a clock on it...I may open that panel up and put something cool in there.
Yeah..Wal-Mart HQ is about 3 miles as the crow flies from me. And of course as you might imagine there is very little to shop at here in the way of grocery stores except Wal-Mart, Sam's Club, or Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market. Wal-Mart as a groery store is OK...but I like Kroger or Albertson's better. Nothing like cometition.
I do not work for Wal-mart. I know a few thousand who do. Tyson Chicken HQ is here too. Along with JB Hunt Trucking world HQ.
I've seen all of 2-3 vehicles in the yards with those factory fog light switches.
One was a F-100, one was a Bronco, there may have been a third some time
ago, don't remember for certain.
From the Bronco, I was able to remove the separate bezel for the fog light
switch. I don't remember how I did it but I think it had two small, pencil-sized
protrusions that extended through the main bezel and the plastic had been
melted and/or glued to hold it in place, don't remember for certain. I also took
the switch assembly. Maybe one of these days I'll install it into my own truck.
i am proud to have this rare option in my truck. Don't have the fog lights but I figure I'll just rewire some offroad lights in the future to utilize the switch.
I was in the JY today, the Bronco with factory electric mirrors is still there.
What year Bronco? I wonder if they still work but I kinda doubt it.
I have some interior door panels with electrical switches for those mirrors (or at least the holes for them, don't remember for certain as they're up in the rafters).

Not much left of it, sadly. Drivers side is complete but mirror glass is broke.
The glass is actually a fairly inexpensive replacement, IIRC. I have a pair of mirrors that someone wanted at one point and I did a bit of research. Local glass companies wanted a fortune, but one of the parts stores had a set available for very little - something like $20 each. Would make a cool addition, although I don't need them since no one else drives the truck.
