yeah, thats it. The truck ran great!..... even better, my derby car was a 1995 grand am with a quad4. I won the heat. Compact event. I went in with the big cars in the main.... but a bad battery connector took me out. The quad4 ran great on it... even with no radiator, surp belt broke, leaking oil and tranny fluid. I had slick 50 and lucas in it... i have pics on my myspace.... same name as here.
but back to the truck.... it all makes since now. thanks.
If you've added any Stabil to the fuel, it will do that to the plugs as well. I remember freaking out a bit the first time I pulled red plugs out of my race car (I put Stabil in the tank when storing the car for the winter).
Either way, you don't have anything to worry about.
nope.... no stabil. I get fuel stabilizer at work and its a marine grade satbilizer.... greenish blueish color... or a yellow color. depends who we order from. but thanks for the tip... never heard of that.
Most any fuel additive will or can turn the plugs rust/red color. It is completely normal. some additives at the gas pump ie some brands of gas will do the same. Nothing to worry about.
