Post tune-up

I have owned my 2001 Screw for about a year now and its time for a tune-up.This is my first encounter with a modular V-8 and I was wondering if anyone has encountered any difficulties performing a tune-up on their trucks. Once I realized that the engine doesn't use spark plug wires I've become concerned about damaging the engine if I did the tune-up my self. I would really appreciate some feedback so that I can decide whether to do it myself or take it to the dealership to get it done.

How many miles you have? That engine has 100K plugs from the factory. Unless its skipping I wouldn't change them. The back 2 can be a pain

It has 45K miles but I'm not getting the same type of acceleration I was getting when I first got the truck. Also, I've been taking the truck on long trips lately and it just feels like its time for a tune-up.

Replace your airfilter and leave the plugs alone. That's it until you hit 100K
