Hey Jerry... hmmmm a powerstroke mustang, that'd be kind of different!
I saw the link for that 71, it was pretty cool looking. I'd be in big trouble if I had lots of money and garage space, I'd probably bring home every decent old pickup I came across.

you wouldnt be the only one i love the 70s fords, i would have a crapload of them, then i would start on the powerstroke stang, unless ford buys Chrysler from under gm, then it would get the cummins. lol

Joe is very good buddies with the store manager and that works in favor for us and for people we refer to them. If Joe says " Give this person a great deal" ,they will!!! I am sorry if I sound like I am bragging but Joe is like royalty to most of the people there.lolol

I know what you mean Chrissy... My brother in law was one of the top tech guys at a dealership in Colorado a few years ago. Anyone he sent in got a great deal. Problem for me was it was a Chevy dealer... not much there I wanted!

Speaking about car dealers... back in June, my wife was trying to trade the RX300 for Camry. Of course they wanted nothing to do with SUV's, even ones that got 24mpg. Now today, I get a very nice message from the Toyota guy, saying since gas is down, (and car sales too?) they'd love to trade for her RX300 now.
Go figure. She just spent big bucks on the 90K service, so she wants to keep it a while.

I am so sorry we were not there to help you out Pat!!! If there comes a time when you need something new, we will be glad to help you out!! We have practically stolen 2 SDs from them in a little over a year so I am pretty sure we can help to get best deals. Here is an example- My 2005 Lariat was a $42,000 truck new, and we got it for less than half of that price!!!! The 2002 350 we traded in for it.....we basically stole that too.

Yeah, bring one if you can. I've never had the chance to take a closer look at one. I almost waited til the 08's were out. But, we needed something to pull our boat (97 doesn't have enough power, and the Expedition is a hog with the boat on the back!) on vacations, and something with more room than our Expedition. So, went ahead and ordered Black in Feb. of 06. I do love that truck, though!!
