I just got my 99 CC PSD lifted 5.5 inches and was wandering if my 3.73 gears are going to be able to handle those tires. I am currently working on putting on the banks kit and possible a superchip.
Also does anyone know where to get a odometer adjustment programmer?
i was at this offroad shop the other day and a guy had just gotten a 4 inch lift and 35's on his PSD 350. the offroad shop guy said there is no reason to regear the diesels. i dont know if that is true but i would think u wouldnt have to.
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 14-Nov-02 AT 07:48 PM (EST)]If in fact your running 35's you'll be fine with the 3.73, especially if you have a stick.
I'm not sure if it works for a diesel, but I run the Diablo chip and it recalibrated my speed.
It's available here at Motorhaven, but I think I would go for the tuner rather than a chip for the diesel.
Sorry I have 35x12.50x16.5 and an automatic. Everything seems to run good. I don't have alot of trouble spining tires but then again there is snow on the ground. Thanks again for the help.
