I believe the airbag light is supposed to flash a code when the key is first turned on. 3 flashes then 2 = code 32, etc. Have you seen anything like that?
There are lots of lamp fault codes. Which one does your flash? Could be a sensor or loose wire somewhere. If you know which code, you'll have a better idea of where to look
I'll have to check but yes 3 flashes followed by 2 flashes is the systems way of telling you the code. 32 is the code for high resistance drivers side.

F350-6 where did you access the trouble shooting chart? I would like to have more info on airbag systems available.
I bought one of the service manuals before a member here posted the links on where to access them for free. They're in the tech folder sticky at the top of the forum. Be sure to leave him reps for providing the useful links.
I used to put a binder in between my seat and console, and when it rested on the long black "bar/ yube thing" on the bottom of the seat by airbag light flashes. if nothing touches it, it is fine. check those things under your seat/ seats!
