Inter Cooler tubes

I have a oil leak from some of my blue tubes that are going to the turbo and inter cooler. Does any one have a good place to get these tubes. A tube that does not need to be replaced every 2 years. I have got my last few sets from Ford and would like to know if there is a better kind out there. I plan on double clamping them when I replace them this time. Thank you for your time and attention.

Yep -- right here:

BUT... Check out the CCV mod, it'll take care of that. I had the same problem, and once I did that mod, no more oil all over the place!!

I have redirected the vent to where it goes through a SST filter and then goes back into the turbo where it did before. I had it going back to my air filter then to the turbo but that was a little messy. I want the engine to be vented with the same vaccum that it has with the turbo, not sure if a difference in vaccum will affect anthing. I have even thought of a way to use a pump to create the same vaccum that the trubo makes and have it go to a resivor. I know that the crank case vent has a purpose, but does the amount of vaccum that it has now need to be kept the same. I have heard about after market boots, or tubes that do not leak as bad as the Ford ones. Just not sure where they are. Thank you for your reply.

Most of us here have vented it to the atmosphere, and that's how International designed the engine originally. Ford plumbed it into the intake to appease the tree huggers. There isn't any real benefit to a vacuum, as long as the standard vent doesn't get plugged. I've had mine vented for going on two years now. No leaks, no oil drips out the vent, and best of all, no oily mess!!

The aftermarket tubes are at the link I provided above, if you want to keep the CCV vented into the intake. I'd buy 'em if I was going to keep it stock(ish).

Ok, I see what you mean, I have been told that but I guess it did not reg at first. I will just route it somewhere I can keep an eye on it to ensure it will not get cloged. thanks. I will get the after market boots and at least that way I know that the area is sealed for a long time, thanks again.

+1 for dieselsite! I got the ones from dieselsite on my truck and no problems. They are thick hose and the oil will not make them soft like the Ford ones.
