I need some rims for my 78 f150 4x4 that will be getting new 35x12.5.15 tires. Does anyone know off-hand what the width of the rim should be? I'm guessing the stock 8" wide steel rims won't work.
I'm calling the local boneyards to find some, but they want to know what width I need.
I just got some 36x12.5x15 tires mounted on some 8.5 inch rims today and the guys was bitching that it was hard to put them on because the tire was so skinny compared to the rim.
