Does anyone have any experiences to share with these? I am looking for a fairly cheap (but not too cheap) set of tires for the winter. Wal-Mart is selling these right now. They would go on a 2wd F150, stock tire size. The tire guy (which didn't appear to be all that competent) said they were a pretty good road tire, which is what I want, but they don't do gravel very well. I know it's not an off-road tire and don't expect it to be. How do these tires ride and wear, does anyone know?
I never bought special tires for my 92 F150 2wd. I always got through a storm and snow with a little extra weight in the back, and a set of campbell tire chains for the rear when it was blizzardy. If you need new tires because the old ones are bald, you might want to go somewhere besides wal-mart.The price is right, but the service could be questionable.
I purchased the Goodyear tires for my 94 F-150 4x2 at Wal-mart and I'm not pleased with them at certain speeds they have alot of vibrations. I also purchased the warranty for rotating and balancing then when I went to get them done they would not do it cause my right rear had a broken stud for the lug nut. They put the tires on with a broken lug nut but would not rotate and balance them. I would say go somewhere else the tires are cheap but the service is not that great.
