downpipe

i need some advice or suggestions. i am getting ready to order my d/pipe. i have a 94 f-250 4x4 p/s. man it looks like a pretty tough job to swap out. can any one direct me to the easiest way to do this. my pipe is flat and the one i am getting appears to be round. it looks like i may have to do a little bit of hammering maybe.

Yes, You're going to want a two piece DP. I just ordered one for my new truck from xtremediesel.com for something like $89.00. Its a MBRP 3" two piece DP. Also installing them isn't too bad. I have done a couple of them. I own a welding shop and use a plasma cutter to remove the stock DP and other exhaust components. If you don't have access to one you will definately want a sawzall and some good blades to cut out the stock exhaust parts. As far as firewall modifications. I think that is dependant on the truck. My 1996 F250 didn't need much more that a few taps on the body seam, where as a friend of mines truck we had to cut the seam out and clearence the firewall. Hope that helps.
