Exclamation couple problems

i have a 1995 ford f 150 300 6 with the mazda 5 spd man. roughly 126,000 miles, 4x4. so okay.. today within in about 10 mins, my left front brake line blew, my didital read out, like the miles and trip and such, went blank, and my truck wont start now. if you jump the solenoid it will but other wise no. it doenst make any noise or nothing. the battery is full charged, has new starter and newer (within a year) solenoid and the terminals are clean. would you think it could be the clutch safety or w/e its called when the peddle is pushed down all the way so you can start it? or would it just prolly need a new soleniod? i dont know why it would not be working already but i really have no idea. also do you know why the dash would just cut out like that. all gauges seem to work. i dont know how they would be related at all in any shape or form. its just kinda funny that all three seemed to go at about hte same time. any help would be greatly appreciated.

oh also, when you go to start the truck, you step in the clutch turn the key to start it and the parking brake warning light comes on. its not on. i cant remember if this always did or not.
thanks alot in advance

Well here's a thought. They're not really related, but, when the line blew did it send some brake fluid up into the power box fuses or connections etc. Are they near??? Or some other connections sprayed with brake fluid. OK my 2 cents, good luck.

My parking brake light stays on after I disengage the pedal too. For me, the problem is that the sensor that detects its position has come loose. If I pull up on the pedal after releasing it, it moves up half an inch or so and the light goes off. I put a small bungee cord on the bottom of the pedal and connected it to the rod connects to the release handle. Worked for me, but sounds like you may have something different going on.

most of the brake fluid went into the wheel well.. it broke on the outside of the frame.. also now all my gauges went out also.. speedo, oil press. fuel gauge, etc. i checked the fuses and they are all good. my starter wire was pretty loose so i tightened taht up again but all to no avail. Might have explained why it was arcing!! umm anybody else have any ideas... i was thinking maybe ignition possible.. my 89 f 150 taht is what is wrong with that, and it has no gauges that work. also with that one u dont need a key.. it will turn w/o one... any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.. tahnks in advance
