Theft Indicator light, Don't come on!!
Hello again all,
I am in the process of putting a PATS bypass in my truck, so my alarm will start the truck, but I have just noticed that my Theft indicator light never come's on at all, going back in time, I dont ever remember it coming on.I know i have PATS on the truck, because I have 3 keys with the chip in them. What could cause this to happen and how do i fix this?

Have you put the cluster in test mode? I believe it's holding the trip button down and turning the key on, continue holding the trip button until the odo reads test or some other text. Then you can scroll through the testing options, one should make all of the needles sweep, the next should turn on all of the idiot lamps in the cluster. If the light doesn't come on, the bulb is most likely blown.
If you have had the GEM or VSM replaced it's possible the PATS wasn't turned back on. Also some tuners have the option to disable PATS, if your running a custom tune, you need to check with your provider.
