heater problems
need a lil help w/97 5,4 4x4 = having problems w/heater flushed radiator and refilled and heater barely works it does blow but very lil temp.have changed thermostat and it acted like it overheated just sitting idling,think maybe a lil junk is stuck in thermostat? heater hoses seem a lil warm but not hot,where is the heater valve located

There is no heater valve on this truck. You may have an air pocket in the engine somewhere. It may help to "burp" the system. You can do this by gently but firmly squeezing the lower radiator hose while the engine is idling. Keep the "overflow tank closed while doing this and make sure you monitor the coolant level in the tank while you are doing this procedure. Keep us posted as to what is happening with the truck.
