I have an 03 F350 Dually with the 6.0 motor and I am having a vibration which starts at 4o mph and fade at around 50 to 55 mph and the reappears at about 65 mph. I just had a front end alignment and the front tires re-balanced. Any ideas??
Feet would mean front wheels/suspension, not steering or the rear. You might try rotating the tires and giving them a good once over. A fresh balance wouldn't harm anything either. Then it's time to examine bushings and probably go over and tighten anything you can get too.
You're problem sounds identical to mine. My F250 is on new tires and the problem was still there after they were balanced and rotated. I just took it in for an oil change and they said my left ball joint is bad, the sway bar end links are bad and the tie rod end at the pitman arm needs to be replaced. So your problem is probably one or more of those.
Visual is as good as you can get. Bushings should look in good shape and not missing pieces. Otherwise, jack up the front end and start wiggling. You shouldn't be able to manipulate the steering or suspension by hand.
