I think you would be fine. That does not put the same stress on the drive line as a 51/2 " lift does. I was told it would be borderline so I was taking a chance. FYI, someone else had the same lift on same truck and had no problem so maybe it was coming anyway??

One more thing, I had a leveling kit which was about a 2" lift before hand and had no issue

LOL, I know. I asked my hubby if we could raise the header in the garage and he just laughed... Guess that means no!
Good luck!

When I was looking at houses back in 02...I was measuring garages to make sure I could put a bigger door in. Ended up with a 8'9"x18' door

I converted to a CV joint, 2 1/2 degree shims and high speed balancing. No vibration. I agree with SIZMDRS - friggen expensive but worth it.

When I bought my Ex it had a 6" Pro Comp lift with no driveline mods at all. I have since switched it out for a 3" lift, but it had no vibrations at 6".

To tell you the truth, I don't know much about it. I am only going by what my install guy told me (that there were no driveshaft mods on mine). He also said that they do 6" with no mods on these all the time. Sorry, but I'm sure someone with more knowledge will chime in!

Basically it boils down to this. You have a 50/50 chance it will need some tweaking. Like I said before depends on the wear and tear your truck has and what you do with it as well. I do know that a lot of folks think its the same set up as an F250 which it is not so be careful with who puts your set up on and just put a little money aside just in case.. Y
