Looking to put some new tires on my truck, need some help so I do not waste money and time. I would like to put some 265/75/16 on my truck, with a mud/snow tread as I need to work in the fields and woods on our farm, and I need load rating of E as we carry equipment and pull trailers. Looking for suggestions on tires that have worked well and tires that I should avoid.
Thanks

mud tires are a great tire, but they usually have short tread life, and howl real bad.
I'd reccoment the michelen X-radial for you and your location, and the kind of work the tire will be doing. Another good one would be BFG long trail T/A.
The Michelen will be expensive, but it is hand's down the longest wearing, toughest side wall tire you can get.
I'd stop in a Sam's club and check them out, even if you don't have a membership, the price of a membership will be offset by a long ways compared to the amount of money you will save on tires.
