Was at a light on my way home tonight. A SD pulled up behind me and started boostin. So I launched and we went down the road at 120 mph (roughly). The ol' gal kept her distance from the SD but since I dont have tunes yet I couldnt lose him. Just thought yall would get a little chuckle out of my fun for the night.
i got 3:55's. i think topped out its almost 130 maybe a tad less. Clocked it next to an import car my friend drives on the highway. he said it was bout 130 on his speedo
I just hit the rev limiter and it stays round 3000 maybe 3100 rpm. Its scary though. The smallest bump and they start gettin light on their feet. I dont have GPS so I dont know what exact top out is. Its pretty fast for a 6500 pound hunk of metal that is about as aerodynamic as a brick. lol
The shoulder of the road was looking convincing to pass a couple people to. but didnt want anyone to freak out. All I know is when I'm goin that fast I get gallons per mile not miles per gallon
Ha thanks. I've went I think it was 3 miles topped out on a highway. Joe (c00n) was with me. We were doing a running scan of my truck when my IPR oring blew. That time I used an eigth of the front tank to go 3 miles turn around and come back. Now thats alot of fuel! Especially when I only have the 20k ICP and 4.7k EOT and you can still see a steady haze of smoke when shes pegged.
i started having IPR o-ring problems when i started running a 22k mod on my truck. the truck ran ok, but i didn't like the IPR problems and eventually stepped back down to a normal 10k mod.. i can agree on the 130 mph mark also. mine has 3.55's also and i got it to 120 with a buddy next to me with more rpm's to play, but egt's were hot so i backed out.
