hey there my truck front end sits lower than gas f250s I'd like to rectify that situation, in fact I'd like to raise the entire thing. What suspension and lifts should I get? I'm looking at 4-8" lifts
You can lift the truck or put X code front leaf springs in and F-350 rear blocks so it sites level. As far as lift kits go, I don't know what brand is better.
What kind of truck is it, yr, model, cc, sc, rc, which one. I have a 2001 regular cab 2wd added a simple leveling kit and it makes me feel a lot better seeing that it's not saging on the front end anymore. Oh and shocks too, bilsteins. I forget which model but they are polished looking.
You could go with the x code springs as said above which are the heavy front suspension leafs that will raise the front end 1-2" depending on how bad the fronts are worn. Or you can get a leveling kit, those would raise the truck anywhere from 2" to 2.75". Or you can get a full suspension lift, but that is costly, and if you use your truck for pulling 5th wheels or goosenecks, too much lift makes the truck useless. Whatever you do, DON'T use lift blocks up front like the rear does. The two most popular options I have seen are leveling kit, and x codes. Leveling kits run from $170 on up to $500, x codes run about $300+ for the set, and lifts can range on from $700+...
I must be bad at readings haha. You want to lift the whole thing... Then lift or 350 springs up front (x codes) and 350 blocks, or leveling kit front, 350 blocks rear, or mild 3" total lift...d
I have a pro comp 6.5" lift. They come with new front and rear springs and the springs handle weight alot better than my stock springs. I kinda wish that i woulda gone with 8" though so i coulda fit 38's...but i might put a hanger kit on. I definitely recemend the pro comp lift!
