door code help

hello everyone
i have a 93 f150 4x4. the code on the door says the trans is type T can any one tell me what trans i have

Look at the top of this forum page and click on "Tech Info" (beside the Moderators name). It tell you there how to decode the door sticker.

the tech there does not have the letter T there

there should be a tag on the trans. itself that will tell you for sure...i think its on the drivers side but it could be anywhere

Here's the easy way to do this. What kind of trans is it? Auto or manual? What engine? Is it 2wd or 4wd?

Apologies for bad advice. Try this, count the number of bolts on the trans oil pan and then click on Tech Info to identify the trans.
