I have a 1989 Brono XLT 4X4 Automatic, that will have to move out of my fleet. I have about $16,000 into this and now I am forced to either sell it as is, or part it out. If anyone is interested, here is what I have:
1) Remanufactured Jasper 302 Engine with approx 35K miles
2) Rebuilt Automatic transmission with about 22K miles
3) 4:10 rear end with approx 95K miles
4) 6 Brand new shocks (Quad shocks in front)
5) Excellent condition Xtra steering wheel
6) Completely rebuilt front end, tie rods, ball joints, idler arms, steering box, etc.
7) Brand new gas tank
8) Truck is from the south with no underbody rust
9) Outside has no rust except for tailgate
10) Some dings and dents , but nothing major. This was the next step in the process, but it won't be done.
11) FRont windshield is cracked
12) Used front passenger side window motor
13) Many new engine parts: selonoids, vaccum hoses, battery, electric fan
I'd be willing to sell it whole or in parts. You can call me at 336-409-0194 or 304-273-6749.
Dale,
You are trying to sell this in the wrong section, it supposed to be in the classifieds not here. I hate to inform you that these are selling all day minimum 900.00 high millage, to 5400.00 for a 95' with only 56k on the odometer and looking brand new. They kind of went along with the housing market, down.
Anyhow, if your thread vanishes it was most likely moved by the administrator.
This should be in the classifieds. I wouldn't expect to get more then $2,000, but probably you might get $1500 with the things the way they are. You are probably better off keeping it because you will never get anything remotely near $16,000.
I agree with what all is said. I think you could get at least 4,000 for it maybe more. You just got to find the right buyer. Its not gonna be easy with the high gas prices even though the prices are fallin they still arent making a 14 mpg ride an easy one. And then you gotta contend with all the other 4x4 trucks out there for sale. If I was you I would hold on to it for a little while longer if you can. But the best of Luck and I hope you find someone that'll give you what you want for it.
