Not sure if your are like the ones on my 55 however, when you fold the arm back there is a tiny piece that will disengage but I still had to use a flat screw driver to persuade them to slide off. If you are not going to use these particular arms again you can use pliers once the tab has been disengaged to pull them off.

Yeah, there is a small tab under the wiper are. I also use a flat blade screw driver. I use a block of wood to pry off of and to protect your finish, since you're dismantling your truck you won't have to worry about the finish but the wood comes in handy down the road.
