If he got on it hard, and it's a stock filter, it could suck it down. Especially with a filter that's not new. Those things are pretty restrictive, dirty or not... LOL....

If the OP has any kind of chip, it will pull the minder down as well. My AIS system uses the minder and every now and then, I have to reset it. No dash light coming on but the DP will draw the minder in the air box down about 1/2 way at times.
