New here - saying hello
So, Hello!
I am bringing home a 1983 F150, 4WD, 4SPD Manual, inline 6.
It runs, and seems to run well.
It is RUSTY! New bed or go flat bed for sure.
I've not owned one of these but since I moved to snow/mud/dirt road country, it was time.
I will post pictures and specifics when it is here.
I know I will have questions - many questions!
Looking forward to getting this thing in order for winter.
Although, in this part of WY, it is either winter or just becoming winter at all times.
Nice to be here,
Ant-Knee

Hello, Im Mr Diesel Power and i am a Diesel Addict lol
I do allot of conversions, re-engineering of a wide gammet of engines and anything that will catch allot of attention.
I do usually like to be the one with the answers to the hard problems, yet find i run into as many as i can answer.

Yeah, I first have to admit that I have watched this site for a while. About a year. Been very knowledgeable about all the issues I have had (all minor). I feel great about joining a community that knows their stuff and can help prepare me and help me moving forward. Have an '03 f-350 powerstroke, and I love it. Great engine, great truck.
Introduction of myself
Hello all,
I have owned a few Fords over the years and it all started with a 1969 Mercury Cougar (351w). I know, not "technically" a Ford, but what can I say. I now have a 1959 Ford 600 COE with a WWII 1942 GE searchlight and associated generator mounted on the flatbed. Someone put a 300 I6 in it before me, and now I have the great pleasure and challenge of finding parts for it. I have had brake issues and fuel/carb issues plaguing me for the past year or so. With a full time job, church and family, I find time difficult to come by to spend on the truck and/or light. But hey, what's a hobby if it has no challenge, right? Any insight on COE's would be helpful. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Howdy everyone. I'm new to the Superduty forum, but not the site. Previous trucks include a 1995 F350 Powerstroke that I mildly built, a 2006 F150, and I now have a bulletproofed 2005 F250.
(I don't normally get fuel at ARCO, but it was the only place nearby)
I look forward to gaining more knowledge about these trucks and getting to know everyone.

Just purchased a F53 MH with the Triton. I have always had Fords and even built dirt track cars using 289's and 302's this is the first of these modular engines I've ever had and it's driving me crazy with the limp mode.
My daily driver is a 1991 Escort LX wagon 5sp with 92000 original miles on it and I love that little bugger.
This V-10 was purchased from a neighbor who I "thought" maintained it but to my chagrin, I find that is not so. There is only 25000+ miles on it and it even sees a hill, it's thinking about limping. The previous owner spilled a glass of iced tea on the dash and true to his nickname, Tinker,he pulled out the instrument cluster "to dry it out" and managed to unplug some gauges. Now they all work crazy..... Guide me to a forum where I can hopefully get answers.
