I'm just about to buy a new 2019 F250. Been a GMC 2500HD owner since 2005 (180K miles on the Duramax). It's time for something new and Ford is winning the game with the HD's from a look and feature perspective (not to mention price) in my opinion.
I am not new to the Ford family as my first new vehicle was a '94 Ford Ranger, my wife had a 2011 Ford Edge (totaled in a wreck) and I currently drive a 2013 Mustang GT (track pack, manual) in addition to my GMC.
Looking forward to all the information and community here. Standby for pics of the new truck once i get it. Hopefully the fed rate cut and a desperate to sell dealer will get me a better deal on the truck I am currently looking at.

1968 F-250
Hi Ford Folks, I have a 1968 F-250 with a 390 engine. My 18-year old is beginning to work on it. No spare wheel or tire. Tires are BFG 16 inch but the tire store says the wheels are 16 1/2 in 8-lug. Seems odd to me. Considering they couldn't fit either a 16 or 17 inch tire on the wheel that I was able to finally find. Any advice? Have extra doors that will put on the marketplace when and if I get authorized by FTE. Thanks!
No one missed me but that is fine
I used to frequent these forums when I owned my first truck. It happened to be a Ford. Then someone bought me a big Chevy utility body, on the premise I would sell my 150. So then I was sad, for years. Today, I bought a lifted 250 xlt 6.0 powerstroke fx4 with 199985 miles without even popping the hood. For what it cost I was willing to get to the table quickly.
But the hood. Opening it.. I am scared to. Who knows what is under there? Does it still have the factory coolant cap? Has it been studded? Egr mods? Oil cooler thingamabob? All it would take is reaching down and finding a lever but I can't bring myself to! I'm going to smoke a joint and get a flashlight.

Hello all,
i decided to become a member when I realized that every time I googled a question about my truck I found the answers on this forum. So thanks for all of the help I have received.
About me,
i live in West Virginia, I am a disabled Navy veteran. I have a1997 F350 Dually Crew Cab that I have driven all over the country and coast to coast 4 times Towing an 13 K fifth wheel camper. The truck has 240 K Miles on it, Most of those hauling a heavy load. It has never left me stranded on the side of the road.
I bought the truck in Arkansas about 10 years ago, it was sitting covered in snow with a for sale sign. It had not been started in months, the prior owner had died and his widow was selling it. It took about 3 hours running the. Block heater on a generator and charging the batteries to get it started. I have never once regretted buying it.
recently I thought about getting a new truck, I found my self looking at trucks in the 40k plus range and using my truck to compare them to. I admit that there are many many very nice new trucks with a lot of options that were not available when mine was new but I could not bring myself to spend that much money on a truck when I already had a perfectly good one. I decided instead to do some upgrades to my truck and drive it for another 20 years.
i will more than likely spend between 8 and 10 k i the coming months doing those upgrades to both the motor and the body.

Hello
Hello All,
I am new to the forum but was wanting to introduce myself. I have a 79 F100 Ranger/XLT 2WD longbed I am restoring. I enjoy working on it when I have time and looking at options to make the little 302 sing a bit more. I has 2.72 axles and I am looking at upgrading the rear end with a spunkier option than what it has. I look forward to learning more from those more experienced than I am. Thank you all in advance!!!!
Respectfully,

1989 f350 7.5L 4X4 Crew Cab
Hello, I've been here a few times here and there in the past. Finally became a member. I have a 1989 F350 4X4 Crew Cab. I love the truck but to be honest nothing has ever worked well in it. I bought it from someone in Tennessee off ebay. I had the heads replaced and some minor engine work after I first received it. Less than a year ago the E4OD transmission was rebuilt and I'm currently rebuilding the engine... I refuse to give up! Sean
Hello my name is Damien,
I'm sure it is obvious I am new to this site as a member. I have checked it out a time or two for info. Today I came to my senses and registered. Not sure why I didn't before. Anyways I love my Ford trucks and will drive them until the day nothing can be done to fix them. I own a 96 F150 XLT 4x4 with the 5.8L and also a 92 F150 XLT with the 5.0L. Currently using the 96 as daily driver while trying to do a complete interior revamp.
