What are you guys using for signal & high beam indicator on the billet dash panel I got lights from Carolina Classic size 5/32 and they are too big I may need to glue them in also do anyone have pics of their installation mainly how the tabs go on the back.
Thanks
Jaye, I've been pondering the same issue ...The PO thru in the billet panel, with a white ringed gauge set from Autometer,I found different sized diameter bulbs with pigtails in the "Speedway" catalog and have been planning on using some configuration of those. It wouldn't surprise me that you might have to enlarge the holes in the panel ..and maybe even have to add glue. Speedway does offer them in smaller sizes though.
Seems to me, I'd already measured the holes in the panel and didn't find any surprises...Then I saw James Hetfields(from Metallica Fame) 54 Buick with his custom silver guitar pickguard material inlaid with the chrome gauge set...being a guitar picker myself AND a hotrodder (the two seem to go together..like pizza and beer..LoL)..I've been on a different path.
Mid -fifty offers a chrome cluster surround...with a little disassembly and re-alignment ..a new gauge set and I can hopefully avoid the billit stuff altogether...just my .02$
Good Luck!
Jaye, I got mine from Radio Shack. Blue for bright light indicator, red for alt light and green for turn signals. They snap in the holes but this dash was custome made for them.
Yours look great I purchased some similiar to yours from Advanced Auto parts with the intentions of making my own again then I ran across a billet one for $85 from Bose Engineering so I went with it but the indicator/dimmer holes are 5/32 I got some lights green & red but they are loose I may have to apply some silicone to hold them in. I messed with it tonight and think I got the brackets figured out, I'll probably complete the install Fri and post some pics Fri/Sat.

Jaye,
I use led lights from Mouser electronics for warning lights, whether in a billet panel or bare, on the dash. There are little chrome surrounds and they fit in a 1/4" hole. Do you have the old dash panel for sale?
The dash panel I took out I had cut the back off and put in an aluminum panel for the gauges, I do have an complete original dash w/gauges that came out of a parts truck. I'll look up Mouser electronics to see what they have. There is currently one on ebay item # 260307464483
Thanks
