I need an adjustable regulator and I can't seem to find one. Since pretty much all the ford engines from 94 up use the same replacement regulator (according to rock auto) can I use an adjustable one from a 99 mustang 4.6?
Just for future reference, they are compatible. Any adjustable for a 5.0 ('94+), 4.6 or 5.4 will work.
Also, if anyone needs to know. Our stock fuel pump puts out 55gph which translates to 210lph. Enough to sustain a 565 hp engine.
Hey...good info to know!
Just a quick question if you do not mind Heavy_Metal. You list a Magnaflow converter in your sig. Is that the OEM replacement? Or did you go universal?
AND, BBK lied to me. There is no adjustable fuel pressure on these trucks. It is a returnless system and the pump controls the pressure according to demand.
The reason I asked...is that I recently purchased a MagnaFlow DIRECT-FIT CATALYTIC CONVERTER PART# 55322. Still have not installed it...just waiting on the OEM FORD muffler assembly...which is on order.
