Using the stock radius arms would be too much work, but that trac bar would be a nice one to use under the bronc.
Standard 78/9 radius arms would be the hot ticket, and then upgrade to long arms after that. Cage makes some pretty nice arms.
This really is a pretty simple and straight foward deal.

The stock arms from the 78-79 would be good.. I might even be able to use my existing radius arm drop brackets.

Ah.. I hope I work soon and get to fix that thing up some more..

Now I just have to solve the dang oil leak on the Superduty.. We've had the oil changed 3 times and it's always leaked from the filter rim. Thought the people could have not removed the old gaskets. I've got a new filter here and am going to check it myself in a bit.

Hey Spectre and 75, I know this thread is older but I have a couple questions. Spectre how is the truck without the trac bar? I just removed mine and like the difference in ride. (01 superduty, 8" Skyjacker lift, drop pitman arm, and trac bar relocate brackets) I mentioned this over on the Superduty forum and so far no one thinks it's a good idea. Truck is mostly street driven and trac bar came off because I was diagnosing where the popping sound was coming from up front.
75ford: Do you still advocate not having a track bar up front? None of the older solid front axle trucks had one, but then again they weren't engineered for one, and stuff was made stronger/stiffer then too. Hope you guys see this...thanks.

My opinion has changed since then.. I am deffenity putting it back on..

It has death wobbled on my wife once since the trac bar came off and it has done it to me twice.. It usually happens when driving down the road and the road is uneven or messed up and it makes the axle shift to the side.

The last time it happened to me, it was hopping so bad the tires were coming off the ground from the death wobble. Tires were chirping everytime they would touch the ground.. It was pretty scary.. Only thing we can do during the death wobble is to slow down as fast as possible and once we get under 10ish MPH it will stop and we can drive again.

If we have to use it (runs to the grocery store) We only drive it within a mile radius of the house right now and drive it slow.. I'm waiting until after xmas so I can afoard the gas to take it to a buddies place so he can weld the bracket up and I'll put the trac bar back in..

This has been my experience with it so far. Other peoples experiences may differ..
