Are the turbochargers interchangable between 03 thru 05?

2003 has a different turbo and pedestal.

You can put an 03 turbo w/ pedestal onto a later model. Lotta guys do this for the extra whistle.

What the difference between the 03 and 04 turbos to make them whistle louder?

I did that when my stock when went out and Bean had Matt's old turbo laying around with the pedestal. It's 7 bolts that you need to mess with to change it all out. 2 hrs work, not big deal at all.

Thats on the exhaust side of the compressor.
