Thought I would share

Most of you know that I have been fighting an oil leak in my valley for about 6 months now. I did the O ring repalcements, I have stuck rags everywhere, ect ect. Yesterday I replaced the gasket for the HPOP, pretty straight forward job, no real suprises. Except 1

You all might remember I rebuilt my tranny about a month ago. Since I have had my tranny in, my RPMs appear to be a little higher, with less result. Even driving on the expressway Sunday, my mpg was for crap.. I have contacted the Mechanic and spoke to him about this, I told him I wanted to look at a few more things, but we agree, there appears to be a problem..

Well, in order to get the gear off the HPOP, you need to remove the water hose on top of the pump, and you have to remove the EBPS. Well, just like the last time, there really wasnt any garbage collecting up in there, I crawled under the truck, disconnected the tube from the manifold, dropped it down, and HOLLY SH%T, there were 5 different holes in the tube, no wonder the darn thing never clogged.

51.20 + tax, the tube is in, and the truck is running better? Much better. I Still think I have an issue with the torque convertor not locking up. But there is a difference..

Now, it was dark when I wrapped everything up last night, but I didnt see a leak yet.. waiting for later on today to see if maybe I got it this time
