This seems like a dumb question, but it the bolt pattern the same on all 8 lug F250/F350 from '87-up?

No ,in 1999 they changed to a 8 lug 170mm pattern, different from the previous years.

he is correct.before 99 all gm and ford wheels were interchangeable, all having an 8 on 165mm,just a hair off of the current wheels.just another way for Ford to make some $ and slow the black market on wheels down...bummer.

Are the wheel offsets the same from 1988 to 1998 for all factory 8 lug wheels?

I have a 1990 F250 4x4 and I am eyeing the plentiful supply of factory wheels on the used market.

For the F250 HD and up, GM wheels are NOT interchangeable, the center hole is smaller, and won't clear the hub on the full floating rear, and, on my F250, it won't fit the front either.
Don't know about the offset on the factory wheels... I'd love to be able to run the new Alcoa wheels on my 86, but, alas, that damn metric pattern...

I'm with you there.

The late model wheels would look great on my 1990. The used market is full of them from guys trading up to bigger and wider.

Too bad they won't fit.
