How is everyone mounting their stacks? Any pictures of underneath the bed area?
I have two 3" stacks that i used to have mounted in my bed before the body swap. Now with the nice new bed and 3" exhaust I have fabbed up off the ATS downpipe I want to get some ideas before I start in.
I am thinking of just making the 3" hole in the bed and running some bolts through the flange on the stack and make a backing plate for it on the underside. Then welding a 3" 90* to the bottom of the stack and connecting to my current exhaust with something flexible to allow the truck to flex like it should.
That is a nice looking setup you have there! Did you build that from scratch or did you buy a kit? The ATS downpipe is 3" did you flare it up one size after that?

Yeah, I did everything from scratch. I built the splitter pipe myself (out of a few 4" mandrel bends and some straight pipe).
I stepped it up to 4" at the end of the downpipe. Originally had it going clear out the back, but just put the stacks on about a week ago.
They were originall $100 each, I got them for about $92 each because I tried to buy some they had listed on special and they were out, so they gave me a bit of a discount.
Shop around, you might find a better deal on ebay.
