I bought the dryer ***** to ease up on my softner sheet bill. Only thing that came out of it was my guilt that there are male dryers longing for their manhood back.
Bikini wax stuff...nads Umm what S&M freak invented this? How loud can you yell OMG?
I do use one of those bluetooth headsets, and its not because I think that I am that important but simplifies using the phone while driving. My little brother has an Iphone, he had the original which gave him tremendous problems, and yet he still sprang for the next one that came out. I asked him why because he dosent even use it for much more than a phone all that often and he replied "just to say I have one". To me, most things advertised on an infomercial is overhyped.
I use a bletooth headset -- only because it's about the only way that I can hear the bleeping phone ( yes, I'm old). I do feel like an idiot when I get one of my rare calls, and I'm in the middle of a store or something ("Mommy, why is that old man talking to himself")
From the list, segway should be in a class by itself.
You could add about 3/4 of the stuff that Pop mech or Popsci have in one of their "top tech products" lists.
And I'd add tire pessure monitors
However, I'd probably pull the Kindel from the list -- depending on the display and memory/navigation. I klnow that the display is eink( almost no power), but I have never seen one. As for the mem/nav, I'd like to keep a stack of tech books on hand -- and be able to pull one up in some reasonable amount of time.
The Zune started as a BUST, but after the latest software update I would think everyone's perception would change. I love my Zune and use it everyday!
Now as for Bluetooth headsets, I have one or two of them. I have mine for when I am driving mainly. Many states are now requiring a hands free device. BTW who decides who is important enough to wear one??? Granted a majority are worn by people who are just gabbing but how do you know that someone is not getting a phone call on their way home from work telling them that their spouse has been in an accident or the baby fas fallen and busted their head open. You never know so don't pass judgement as to whether someones phone call is important or not.
Sorry guys of my soapbox...
Oh yeah Hey Jake I loved the magic bullet mixer my mom has. After my surgery I lived from the shakes that made for me. That was the only way I could eat for about 3 months. They are gimmicky but I think they work great. I made thousands of protein shakes and smoothies with it.

1. Bluetooth ear pieces for mobile phones - Take it out. YOU ARE NOT THAT IMPORTANT!!!
no i am not that important but here in Cali there is a law that says you have to use a hands free device and blue tooth is the best option right now....
Even though I have an iPod Touch, I completely agree with the iPhone. It's an awesome little device, but c'mon Apple, you don't have divine blessing (much to Jobs' dismay).
I'd like to add the Wii. Here's an idea: let's reuse the already beaten down game franchises that Nintendo owns, not upgrade the graphics, and swing at the TV. "Oh, but it's a video game that gets kids moving!" Please. Are we really at the point where we need a TV screen in front of us to play tennis? Can we do absolutely nothing without a TV anymore?
From a technological standpoint, it's pretty cool. As a game platform, nada. It's a fun party platform, for about 20 minutes, but I just don't get it.

But you don't wear it walking around the shops do you? ... you do don't you!!!!
I don't think the Zune is an overhyped gadget. I have one, and i love it. I listen to the thing like 12 hours a day. The only Mp3 players that come with that much memery arte the zune and the ipods. And I thought the zune was way better than the ipods, and my friends with ipods agree.
Also the playstation 3 is cool, I'll wait til they drop in price before i buy myself one, but I don't see why it's overhyped... every game system from the beggining is overhyped in a way.
I agree with the iphone... and pretty much every phone made nowadays. I own a camera, a mp3 player, a computer, I don't need all the crap in my phone.
