I'm new to this automotive thing, truckin to be exact. 1971 f350 crewcab.... I have white smoke coming from them tailpipe after the engine runs for about 10 min or so... if anyone has suggestions please post back or email me at nativekid123@yahoo.com
White: check and see if it's really steam from a cracked head or blown head gasket. Check coolant for grayish color, bubbles, fuel smell or rainbow. Check plugs for water.
Whitish-blue, stinky stinky stinky: ATF being sucked into vacuum modulator vial vacuum line from carb or manifold down to modulator on transmission. C6 has this set up.
Blue: Oil, congrats, you have a hybrid, it burns gas and oil. Rings, valve seals.
Black: Too rich or your choke is stuck.
Gray: Out carb & breathers, sometimes exhaust--death smoke, you have grenaded and terrible things have happened indside.
