I have a stock 95 F350. It sits up pretty high with the 4x4 off road package. Right now I have 265's on it. Do you guys think I could run 33's without lifting it? It looks like I have a ton of room for bigger tires.
If you can't fit 33" tires on a stock f350, then I'll give ya a dollar! O.k., so not much of an incentive, but you should be able to fit 33's with little problems. Width is where you will get the fit problem, but several posts on FTE have people running 12.50's with no rubbing. I'm going to put 34x10.50r16 on my 94 F250 4x4 and shouldn't have to do anything except maybe push the front bumper forward about an inch. At least that's what I'm betting on!
If I run say 33x12.5's on 16x10 wheels will I have any troubles? You said that some wider tires dont fit? Is that considered wide? How wide could I go with 10inch rims?
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 14-Dec-02 AT 07:34 PM (EST)]Dont worry 33's will fit only thing that you will have to do is shim or maybe cut the bumper a tiny bit and they will fit on nicely.
With a F-350 1Ton You shouldn't have any problems running 35x12.5's.
At worse you may have to shim the front bumper out an
inch. They just had a post on a F-250 about a week or so ago and
some are running 35's on 250's with little or nothing done. I
guess it all depend on your suspension.
Good Luck, Dan :-X12
I have a stock suspension 92 F350 4x4 CrewCab running 33x12.5/16's and the only rubbing I get is on the lower corner of the front bumper and its easy to shim it out. I think they are 10" wheels but not sure.
